Computer Systems Servicing NC II

The Computer Systems Servicing NC II program equips trainees with the knowledge, skills, and work attitudes required to install, configure, maintain, and repair computer systems, set up computer networks and servers, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in accordance with the latest TESDA Training Regulations and industry standards. The program prepares learners for entry-level careers in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector through competency-based training and hands-on practical experience.

Course Objective – Computer Systems Servicing NC II (TESDA)

The Computer Systems Servicing NC II program aims to equip trainees with the knowledge, skills, and work attitudes required to perform computer systems servicing tasks in accordance with the latest TESDA competency standards and industry requirements. Upon completion of the course, trainees will be able to:

  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, drivers, and application software.

  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), internet connectivity, and network devices.

  • Install, configure, and manage computer servers based on organizational requirements.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of computer systems, peripherals, and network equipment.

  • Utilize appropriate hand tools, testing instruments, and diagnostic software while observing quality standards.

  • Apply occupational safety and health (OSH) practices, data security measures, and workplace procedures in all servicing activities.

  • Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, customer service, critical thinking, and professionalism in an ICT work environment.

  • Qualify for the TESDA National Assessment leading to the National Certificate II (NC II) and pursue employment as a Computer Service Technician, Computer Assembler, Network Technician, IT Support Technician, Computer Maintenance Technician, or Technical Support Staff.
